Lake Winnebago, WI. can be a beautiful waterway. If you are not familiar with it, as I was not prior to moving to WI. it is a site to see. Just check the map. 11 miles wide x 40 miles long, with a deep spot of 22 feet, she rocks & rolls like a bath tub most of the time. This early morning, however, was very peaceful. It was May, 2007 just after sunrise, looking due NW from the top of the Calumet Park Harbor tower.1.26.2008
