Who made that soup?

Jay Lenno is probably going to like this one. This is Two Rivers favorite place to eat.... Not.
2-Rivers, WI. Sept. 2007

Stunning simplicity

Taken by Chelsea in Hobbs Woods, Mayb of 2007.

Guardian of the water

Life boat strapped to the Lake Express Ferry that runs between Milwaukee, WI and Muskegon, MI. taken in May, 2006.

Frozen Dairy

Beautiful Wisconsin farm taken in March, 2007 from the air.

Upside down

Lake Michigan meets a beautiful wispy white sky, or is it the other way around? This photo taken from a jet headed to Appleton, WI. in July, 2007.

More of the beauty of a swamp. Horicon Marsh, July 2007.

Violean

This is a beautiful shot taken by Chelsea in June, 2007 of an antique violin that we have in our family heirloom.

Obscure Otter

Taken in May, 2006 in black & white, this cute little critter was swimming in a back water area of the far west end of Lake Butte Des Mortes in Winnebago County, WI.

SS Sunset

Taken on a crossing in July, 2006 from the bow of the SS Badger, I thought this picture was also worthy of sharing.

Mountain Pool

The exact location of this lake is not clear, all I know is somewhere in the Rockie Mountains over Arizona, possibly Lake Mead? It was taken on a flight from San Diego to Chicago, October, 2007.

In my back yard!

Just another example of the beauty all around us, if we just pay attention. Taken in our back yard in mid-summer, 2007.

Pier Review

Anchors Away

This was actually taken on New Years Day, 2007 in the Lakeside Park directly in front of the Lighthouse, Fond du Lac, WI. Lake Winnebago. (by Chelsea)

Snow Spider

Chelsea took this picture in late December - and yes, she was alive! This was in the Hobbs Woods park, near Fond du Lac, WI. 2007.

Paddle Princess

Hiking through the Ludington State Park on a summer day in 2003, this beautiful creature was asking me questions I didnt know the answer to, so I just kept going.

Over the top

This was a tropical storm that my airplane had to fly around on our way to Toluca, Mexico in June of 2000. We eventually had to sit for 2 days as the storm passed by us. Another business trip, you guessed it.

Looking Glass

This unique shot was taken early one morning as I prepared to get into a canoe and paddle out into the lake to do some fishing. The lake, is a private association known as Hurricane Hills, in Kentucky. One of my best friends has an annual fishing weekend here at his Uncle's cabin during the same weekend as the KY. Derby - this was in 2005.

Awsome Austria

I took this picture from the top of a hill in a park, in downtown Graz, Austria, 2004. I was there on a business trip in October. What a beautiful well preserved city this is, and friendly.

Valencia Clocktower

I am stretching here - and actually an old film photo, not digital. This is a church in downtown Valencia, Spain. What a beautiful city! I was there on a business trip in October, 2000.

Peaceful Pond

Lake Winnebago, WI. can be a beautiful waterway. If you are not familiar with it, as I was not prior to moving to WI. it is a site to see. Just check the map. 11 miles wide x 40 miles long, with a deep spot of 22 feet, she rocks & rolls like a bath tub most of the time. This early morning, however, was very peaceful. It was May, 2007 just after sunrise, looking due NW from the top of the Calumet Park Harbor tower.

Lake Mountain Dew

Seriously - I was beyond disappointed when I came across this. I wont even say where this lake is other than this type of water should never be found in the USA, but it is. :(....

Ghost Plane

Sitting and staring out my window seat on a flight to San Diego in October, I spotted my own airplane - or the ghost of my airplane, as it paralleled us through reflection of the sun. I found this to be both exciting and a little scary.

Curious Critter

Someone probably dropped a sock or a crumb of food as this dog can feel when something hits the floor. Beautiful pose, however, and during Christmas in 2005. She is still cute.

Pretty Kitty

Rainey - the cat-dog that found his way upon our deck back in Ludington, at a very early age. He now lives with my parents in Diamondale, MI. This is one unique critter.

A sunny August (2007) day in the Horicon Marsh, WI.
Nature and its blushing beauty.

This one is an extraordinary shot. Chelsea took this one when we were out to dinner one day. She suddenly said she wished she had a flashlight, and for some odd reason, her friend from NC who was with us at the time, Fern, actually had one in her purse, so she held it behind the lemon on the glass and Chels took the picture.

As I sat at the table, in our favorite resturant, looking for something to eat, I saw my beautiful daughter, in a reflection, in the oil for dipping our bread! How did I notice that? Never mind, it made for a great picture, however. - December, 2007.

Mountain Dew - through the glass. The funny thing is I have a picture of a lake, I am sorry to say is near my home, that looks just like this in the summer. This was taken in December, 2007.

Lake MI straight on, from the deck of the Badger. - July, 2006.

Tugboat Ludington

Tied to its home port in Kewanee, WI. The Tug Boat, Ludington looked at me as if it actually recognized me. Considering I only moved to Wisconsin from Ludington a month prior, maybe it truly does have a spirit.

SS Badger

The SS Badger Car Ferry leaving Manitowoc, WI. in August, 2007.

Lakeshore wonder

Seriously, a straight on - looking down at the log I was standing on, in the water. This was taken off the shoreline at a hard to find county park near Cedar Grove, WI. on the beach of Lake Michigan, Spetember 2007.

Mason County Courthouse

Taken in March of 2004 from my driveway, the Mason County Court House in Ludington, MI. looked as though it was in a time warp on this foggy Lake Michigan Shore line warming trend.

Hanging Tough

Lake Michigan Carferry; SS Badger crossing from Manitowoc, WI to Ludington, MI in October, 2006 during a rough storm.

Reflections

(c) This one, my most favorite and prized picture. My daughter, Chelsea, taking in fresh air over the bow of the SS Badger on a crossing of Lake Michigan during very high seas. October, 2006.

Culture shock

From the 17th floor of a hotel, I took this shot while visiting China on business. I just was taken by the difference in culture between ancient China and modern china. The air quality as seen was consistent - smog.

Cold Beach

Sterns Park beach, city of Ludington, MI. in December, 2004

Under the Rainbow

Whispering Springs Golf Course after a thunderstorm in June, 2006. Fond du Lac, WI.
