Twisted wonder

This was taken in 1998 following the worst wind storm in modern history that swept through the upper midwest, I believe it was in June. This tree is in the back woods area of Ludington State Park, a favorite hiking trail of mine.

This was taken in the summer of 2004 while laying on the beach. Notice the big freighter ship on the high seas of Lake Michigan.

Schooner than you think

This beautiful sailing vessel, tied to the pier at the Milwaukee harbor, May 2006. I dream of owning one exactly like this, only moored directly across the lake, in Pentwater.
