Twisted wonder

This was taken in 1998 following the worst wind storm in modern history that swept through the upper midwest, I believe it was in June. This tree is in the back woods area of Ludington State Park, a favorite hiking trail of mine.

This beautiful sailing vessel, tied to the pier at the Milwaukee harbor, May 2006. I dream of owning one exactly like this, only moored directly across the lake, in Pentwater.
